You are now standing in front the the main gate into Candle Keep. Talk to the Keeper of the Portal and give him the book and head for the front doors of the Library. On the second floor you are going to find a feller by the name of Koveras. Talk to him, altho it really doesn't matter what you say to him.
Now go to north-west room on the third floor. Here you will find Rieltar, Brunos, Tuth and Kestor. Kill them an dget their stuff.
Congradulations, you have just killed 4 innocent men and you are now fugitaves being hunted like the dogs you are! Don't worry, if you wouldn't have done it someone else would have. You would have been framed for their murder and you would still be wanted. At least this way you got the experience and their stuff.
From here on out every law enforcement official is going to stop you to bring you to justice. You can fight them if you like, but your reputation will drop. You are going to have to give yourself up anyway, so you might as well save your skin forrthe really tough fights.
Go down the stairs and you are going to find a Watcher. Let him take you to jail and Tethtoril will come and break you out. Ask him to teleport you to the "Secret Library". Once there head north-west to the first room and turn north-east and exit.
In the next room head north-west and follow the corridor to the exit. You are now below the "Great Library". Head south and follow the water south-west. Cross the bridge and turn south at the second opening. Follow the path around until you meet Diarmid. Pretend you are the dopes you just wiped and start asking questions. Watch him start trembeling when he realizes you are not who you said you were.
Exit this area, head south and TADA! thats the end of Chapter 6! (and what a lovely chapter it was).
